After a whirlwind day at the polls, the three leading candidates in the Richmond mayoral race will gather with supporters and celebrate as they await election returns.
Jack Berry
Berry’s campaign will host a watch party at the Robinson Theatre Community Arts Center at 2903 Q St. in the East End. Doors open at 7:30. The event is free and open to the public. A campaign release says food, beer and wine will be on hand and local and national results will air on a big screen. Berry will address the crowd at a time yet to be determined, says Campaign Manager Eric Harris.
Joe Morrissey
Morrissey’s campaign will host a watch party at its campaign headquarters located at 2302 Chamberlayne Avenue in North Side, says Campaign Manager Debbie Repp. Doors will open around 7:30. Morrissey will address attendees at some point in the evening when a result is known, Repp says.
Levar Stoney
The Stoney campaign is hosting a watch party at Wong Gonzalez at 412 E Grace St. The event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 7 p.m. Stoney’s speaking time is to be determined, but he will address the attendees at some point in the night, according to a release.
