Our dynamic hosting duo for this year's Elby's will be Richmond magazine's newly appointed food editor, Brandon Fox, and Richmond's most gregarious modern gentleman, Jason Tesauro.
As noted in Details, Playboy and The New Yorker, Jason Tesauro is an entertainer, book author, lecturer, sommelier and raconteur. By day, he served for 10 years as chief sommelier and brand director at Barboursville Vineyards. Tesauro has been a contributor to The New York Times and Sommelier Journal, and his award-winning wine and spirits reports have appeared in Men's Health, Maxim and The Sunday Paper (Atlanta). He also has hosted the national wine bloggers awards in Charlottesville and various charity events, including the annual James River Writers auction.
Fox is an award-winning food writer, columnist and blogger who started her Brandon Eats blog in 2005. She served as a restaurant reviewer and food writer for Style Weekly, Home Style and Belle from 2005 to 2009, and she has written for the Washington Post and RVANews. From July 2009 to February 2013, she edited Richmond magazine's shelter magazine, RHome. Fox holds a master's degree in English from the University of Virginia.
