To me, cheese is practically its own food group — and my preferred food group at that. Only one thing could turn my head, and that's a new concept in smoky, salty desserts. Luckily for me, I found Super Fresh Carts, and they do both, specializing in gourmet grilled cheese, homemade s'mores and candied nuts.
To create your sandwich, you choose local bread and two cheese options, and you also decide if you want to add bacon or tomato. I went with a popular choice, asiago cheese bread with Gorgonzola and Swiss cheese topped with a few strips of smoky bacon. It was delicious.
S'mores also offer lots of options to choose from. I decided on a homemade graham cracker with Hershey's milk chocolate and homemade marshmallow — and topped with bacon. The only way to describe this dessert: life changing.
