Rappahannock River Oysters brings its award-winning bivalves to this annual fundraiser for St. Thomas' Episcopal Church. Along with oysters raw, steamed, grilled or fried, you'll find hot dogs and brats on the grill for non-seafood lovers. There will be beer for the above-21 crowd, and along with a day's worth of live music, the festival includes a kids' zone with a bouncy house, slides and more. The Oct. 5 festivities start at noon, rain or shine, and last until 6 p.m. The event is free, although a $2 donation is suggested.
