History: Steve Barham started his seafood business six years ago as a second career. He fished the Chesapeake Bay for nearly 50 years and has relationships with fisherman and wholesalers from Maryland to North Carolina.
Specialty: Barham sources fresh seafood from a variety of fisherman and wholesalers: Oysters come from B.N. Garnett Seafood in Middlesex County; fresh fish and scallops are sourced from Sam Rust Seafood in Hampton, Shellfish Unlimited in Yorktown and Atlantic Seafood Co. in Atlantic Beach, N.C.; crabs come from Bill Forrest Seafood in Poquoson.
Production Methods: In addition to fresh seafood, Barham makes crab cakes, crab soup, crab muffins and crab dip.
