Champagne is for sharing, especially since those narrow flutes can stretch a single bottle into seven to 10 servings. And it's an invigorating mixer.
Bellini: (pictured right)
Prosecco and peach purée. Serve in a flute.
French 75:
Shake lemon juice, superfine sugar and gin with ice; strain into a slender Collins glass, top with bubbly and garnish with a lemon twist.
St.-Germain & Champagne:
Upgrade any inexpensive bottle with a hit of this elderberry-flavored nectar.
Möet Margarita:
3 ounces of Möet
1/2 ounce of tequila blanco
1/4 ounce of Grand Marnier
1/4 ounce of fresh lime juice
1/4 ounce of simple syrup
Shake all ingredients except Möet with ice. Strain into a salt-rimmed, chilled martini glass or try it in a wide-mouthed champagne saucer. Top with Möet and garnish with a lime.
