They've proven their skills on the basketball court, but what about in the kitchen? On April 25 at 6 p.m., Virginia Commonwealth University basketball coach Shaka Smart will compete against cross-town rival coach Chris Mooney of the University of Richmond in a Coaches' Cook-Off to benefit the Positive Vibe Café and Foundation. The coaches will face off with coach Rut Court at Benedictine High School, and each will work with a culinary coach. Walter Bundy, executive chef at Lemaire at The Jefferson Hotel, will assist Smart; Mooney will be paired with Glenn Pruden, executive chef at the University of Richmond.
