Eight Richmond chefs will come together to cook for one night at Pasture: Jason Alley and Brian McClure of Pasture, The Rooosevelt's Lee Gregory, Joe Sparatta of Heritage, Tim Bereika of Mosaic Catering, The Magpie's Owen Lane, Chris Mattera of Sausage Craft, and Bistro Bobette's Francis Devilliers.
The dinner, to be held on Jan. 12, is a fundraiser for the University of Virginia's Richard R. Dart ALS Clinic and is in honor of Richmond magazine contributor Hollister Lindley, who has ALS (a neurodegenerative disease also known as Lou Gehrig's disease). Lindley is a good friend of Pasture's managing partner Michele Jones. "She's a huge foodie and food writer, and I thought it would be fun to get some chefs together … [to] raise some money." The dinner will be multi-course, with each chef presenting his own dish. Tickets are $200. Pasture, 416 E. Grace St., 780-0416, pastureva.com
