Can one city's obsession with pork and beer be sated? Hardly. Hustle down and eat up at the 17th Street Farmers' Market for the Second Annual BBQ & Craft Beer Festival on Aug. 18 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. More than 8,000 people turned out last year to try barbecue and brews from 12 restaurants and 14 craft breweries, according to John Sydnor, executive director of Enrichmond, a nonprofit organization that brings together other volunteer groups in the city to support RVA's parks, recreation and cultural arts. "And it was so popular," he says, "we'll probably do more this year." 100 N. 17th St., 646-0954 or enrichmond.org .
