A dance contest could benefit the Children's Hospital of Richmond, if a local family is judged to have the best moves. Through March 19, families can upload 30-second dance videos (warm up your pop-and-lock!) to FamilyDanceoff.com. Children's Miracle Network and Primrose Schools, which has a preschool in Hanover County, have promised to donate between $15,000 and $30,000 to the hospital if a Richmond-area family grabs one of the top three spots in the national contest, which allows anyone to vote for their favorite video. Two finalists will be picked at the end of each week and then compete in the finalists' contest March 20-26. The hospital has special meaning to the owner of Primrose School of Atlee Commons, Ann Andrade, whose son was treated there after sustaining a brain injury in a car wreck.
