Richmond native Ira Marlowe has gone from performing rock for grownups with The Rage in the 1980s to playing in his one-man band, The Chills, which creates spooky songs for kids. "I was playing in a small café in 2005 when a representative from The Learning Company approached me," Marlowe says. "He liked my music because it sounded colorful and catchy." Marlowe, who now lives in California, still plays music for adults, but for Halloween fun, you can't beat the The Chills' newly released Know Your Bones .
