Heather Higgins Bougique Boutique
Before moving to Midlothian in May 2013, Heather Higgins worked in Chicago as a wedding designer and professional makeup artist for Versace. On Oct. 1, 2013, Higgins opened Bougique Boutique (pronounced boo-sheek) in the Market Square shops of Brandermill. The specialty boutique offers European and vintage home décor. “I’ve got a very Parisian feel in here,” Higgins says of the 500-square-foot shop that sells vintage washstands, candelabras, estate jewelry and more. Higgins, who has planned more than 75 weddings in the past 15 years, also offers wedding planning consultation in the shop. “Most of my brides want the romantic French/European look in their wedding with draping, lace, crystals and glamour,” she says. 744-4560 or bougiqueboutique.com.
