While attending high school in Singapore, Richmond native Christine Newell traveled around Australia, the Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia. “I gained a lot through that as far as fashion,†the full-time blogger says. “It’s always bright colors and prints and handmade things.†In May, Newell started the blog A Ring to It ( aringtoit.com ) after returning to Richmond from New York City where she worked as a styling assistant at Nanette Lepore.
