Adding blueberries, salmon or tuna to your diet may increase your short-term memory, says Jenna Cooke, a registered dietitian at Bon Secours St. Mary's Hospital. Cooke notes that a balanced diet does the most to improve memory and overall health, but omega-3 fatty acids found in fish (try two or three servings of salmon or tuna a week) and antioxidants in blueberries (half a cup on your cereal or as a snack) also help.
