Inspired by a pair of cufflinks made from old typewriter keys, clay artist Lee Knapp created Grammarware ceramic dishes in 2008. "I got the idea that it'd be neat to have grammar concepts that were greatly abused," the Henrico County high school English and history teacher says. Her kiln-fired dishware features common grammar mistakes along with witty lessons about the incorrect usage of the word or phrase. The tableware, which ranges from $5 to $60, is sold at the Virginia Historical Society, the Library of Virginia and online at grammarstuff.com .
