More than a decade ago, Goochland resident Donald Noble founded a boxer-brief company called Buttcover Boxers, playfully named after the word he and his toddler son Ellis used for underwear. The company dissipated after a few years, but in the beginning of the year, Ellis Noble, now 22, renewed the trademark. The recreational skateboarder says the $10 moisture-wicking boxers are comfortable to wear during physical activity.
"If you're wearing cotton boxers, they would just soak [sweat] up," Ellis says. The former bellhop at the Short Pump Hilton hotel recently relocated the online company from Goochland to Los Angeles, where he pursues acting. For more information, visit buttcovers.com .
