Just in time for spring gift baskets, Stacy Moore will hold a trunk show at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts on March 14 from noon to 4 p.m. and March 15 from 4 to 8 p.m. The Richmond artist creates 5- to 10-inch hand-sewn animals using bamboo and wool felt. Patterns from the 1950s and '60s and small Japanese stuffed animals often inspire her figures, which include squirrels, elephants and bunnies. For the March trunk show, Moore has created a collection of mother and baby designs. Prices range from about $20 to $80. For more information, call 340-1400 or visit vmfa.museum.
