Kick off your Friday night right with a visit to Palette Paint and Home, the fine paint, art and furniture store at 5813 Grove Ave.
From 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on the Sept. 19, Palette will host a festive reception for the Richmond-born and nationally known artist Lindsay Cowles. With works in homes and hotels from New York to Los Angeles, Cowles was voted Art Business News’ “Top Emerging Artist for 2014.”
Come out for live music and refreshments, meet Cowles and see her original artworks. Bold in scale, her paintings are also available as wrapped canvas prints, in sizes small to large. She also has launched a newly expanded wallpaper line featuring her designs.
Cowles' art will be on display and for sale. Palette also carries her recently introduced pillows (pictured above) featuring her distinctive, ebullient art on fabric. At 24-inches square, the pillows are stuffed with lush down and priced $215.
