Virginia ' s largest one-day festival — according to its organizers — Carytown ' s signature event features 80 musicians, more than 100 exhibitors and more than 3,000 watermelons. Proceeds from the $1 bowls of seedless and seeded watermelons benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Free.
