Watch more than 160 teams of figure skaters from all over the East Coast compete at the Richmond Coliseum and Greater Richmond Convention Center in the Eastern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships for the first time since 2008.
In what's considered the fastest growing discipline in figure skating, teams comprising eight to 20 skaters each, featuring a variety of age groups and talent classifications from juvenile to master, will compete Jan. 28 to 30 for a chance to represent the Eastern Section in the National Synchronized Skating Championships.
The Richmond Figure Skating Club, the event’s host, will be represented by six local teams. Adults: $18 to $20 per day; $43.50 to $46.50 for all events. Children and seniors: $16 to $18 per day; $36.50 to $39.50 for all events. Children under age 8 get in free. synchroeast2016.org.
