The 43rd Street Festival of the Arts is celebrating its 25th anniversary on Sept. 17 with local music, food, crafts and, of course, fine art. Seventy-five artists will line the street, including Richmonder Angie Wiggins, who will showcase her unique pieces such as handmade paper bowls.
Musical performers include Janet Martin, Rachel Leyco, Blue Line Highway, Blue Catz and Elana Lisa & The Hot Mess. This year's event at Forest Hill Avenue and 43rd Street will raise funds for CARITAS, the largest provider of services for the homeless in the Richmond area.
