“Assassins,” presented by Quill Theatre from Nov. 4-26, offers an interesting glimpse into the lives of the nine people who have tried to assassinate U.S. presidents throughout American history.
“It really hinges on Lee Harvey Oswald’s decision to shoot John F. Kennedy,” says Andrew Hamm, the show’s director. “In the context of this play, the other assassins and particularly [John Wilkes] Booth are players, in that they’re strong influences on Oswald as he makes a decision to do that.”
Showing at Firehouse Theatre, 1609 W. Broad St. Tickets $20. 340-0115 or quilltheatre.org.
