Leo Kottke occupies a lofty niche among acoustic musicians — his finger-picking style makes six- and 12-string guitars sound like an orchestra. Over the course of four decades, the guitarist-singer-composer and Grammy-nominated artist has invented a new language for his instruments. He teams up with Loudon Wainwright III on April 5 at the University of Richmond's Camp Concert Hall.Wainwright is a Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, humorist and actor, as well as a generational voice. He has appeared in the films Knocked Up (for which he also recorded the soundtrack) and The 40-Year-Old Virgin, and television shows Parks and Recreation and M*A*S*H. 7:30 p.m. $36. (Tickets were sold out as of press time, but stand-by seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 6 p.m.) 289-8980 or modlin.richmond.edu .
