The eighth season of Broadway in Richmond kicks off with “Elf The Musical” Dec. 9-11. Fans of the 2003 Will Ferrell movie will delight in seeing Buddy the elf live on stage.
The tour’s choreographer, Connor Gallagher, says the musical follows the similar hilarious story line of Buddy searching for his birth father and true identity in New York City after growing up in the North Pole.
“It feels like something that’s familiar and warm … but it’s got its own style, its own vibe,” he says. “It’s a story about accepting who you are, finding your family and being together.”
$38 to $73. Altria Theater.
