The Capitol Steps
The Capitol Steps, a comedy troupe that lampoons current headlines, never seems to run out of material. One recent song, “Hotel Arizona,” borrowing music from the Eagles, has an immigrant singing, “I was thinking to myself, this place is heaven if you are just white.” The group will perform Sept. 6 at the Glen Allen Cultural Arts Center. 5 and 8 p.m. $42. 261-2787 or artsglenallen.com.
