In suspense novelist Tess Gerritsen's most recent thriller, Playing with Fire, a violinist discovers a piece of sheet music that triggers violent reactions - and leads her into the story of its composer and World War II-era Italy.
"It takes its inspiration from history - and from the power of music to change lives," Gerritsen says.
