"If you were a dinosaur, what kind of dinosaur would you be?" That's the question being asked at the Science Museum of Virginia's "Be the Dinosaur" exhibition, which opens Jan. 16. "It seeks to answer what a normal day was like in the lives of the dinosaurs and what it was like to be on Earth at that time," spokeswoman Nancy Tait says. The exhibition includes artificially intelligent and scientifically accurate animatronic dinosaurs with muscles, nervous, sensory and digestive systems. Experience the life of a dinosaur through video-game technology and traditional exhibits that explore what dinosaurs ate, where they roamed and how they spent their days. Tuesdays through Saturdays 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sundays 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free with museum admission of $11. 864-1400 or smv.org.
