While it's true that her Spider-Man musical turned into something of a debacle, The Lion King' s four-week run at the Landmark Theater, from Feb. 15 to March 11, should remind theatergoers of Julie Taymor's prodigious talent. The director's 1997 adaptation of Disney's animated hit, for which she co-designed more than 100 costumes, is still running on Broadway, and it has been performed across the world.
