Rain or shine, get ready for the 11th Shamrock the Block street festival on March 15. You'll find lots of food, live music and green beverages on the Boulevard off Broad Street from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. It's a family-friendly and dog-friendly event and has expanded this year to include jugglers, face-painters, bounces, games and more. Last year more than 30,000 people attended. Proceeds go to benefit F.E.T.C.H., Furthering Education Treatment Companion Health, a group that fundraises and works to help support life-saving treatments for animals whose owners cannot afford to do so.
