Zoë Romano, seen here on Belle Isle, is training for the 2013 Tour de France — as a runner. After running across the United States in 2011, she says, "I wanted to do something harder and different." Departing from Nice, France, on May 18, she's hoping to raise $100,000 for the nonprofit World Pediatric Project by running the entire 3,360-kilometer course before finishing in Paris on July 20, one day before the bike race ends in the French capital.
