That’s right; your once-a-year chance to save big on the coveted Richmond menswear line starts Wednesday and runs through Aug. 22. I got the inside scoop on the savings from Ledbury’s vice president of branding and communications, Elisabeth Edelman.
Discontinued items will be marked up to 75 percent off, and some current items will be deeply marked down as well. These deals will be exclusive to Richmond customers. You might think “sale” translates to “weird colors and unpopular patterns,” but Edelman says not so: “Shop ‘Ledbury vintage’ styles and new shirts from the past year or so, all in a range of bold prints and classic go-tos,” she says.
There won’t just be shirts—there will also be a few blazers, pants and accessories on sale. And, in chic Ledbury fashion, from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, there will be snacks and beverages served while you shop.
Tips for scoring the best deals? “Come early Wednesday for your best shot to snag shirting in your size, especially slim fit, as well as a limited selection of blazers,” Edelman says. Also keep in mind, new items will be added each day, so you might want to stop by more than once.
Don’t forget there’s free packing at 14th and Dock streets.
One last cryptic tip from Edelman: “Keep an eye out on social media for a golden pineapple. That’s all I can say.”
