When she was 16 years old, Rachel Kellman opened Linger Rose ( lingerrose.com ), an online retail outlet that sells designer handbags, accessories and jewelry. On Nov. 23, Kellman expanded her retail reach with a brick-and-mortar gift shop in Church Hill. Loving Lemons carries candy, soaps, home décor and jewelry from local and international artisans. "We were looking for gifting items so that you didn't have to go to Carytown," she says of the shop that sells Darien Essentials soaps and Pecan Jacks gourmet candy. "I brought a Carytown store at less cost to Church Hill." Every item in the 840-square-foot shop is priced less than $100, with most items in the $12 range.
