When Tiffanys Bridal owner Sharon Townsend displayed her 1970s wedding dress in her Parham Road boutique, she was surprised by the positive response from her customers. "They want the lace veils we wore in the '70s," Townsend says of the vintage-inspired bridal styles that are seeing a resurgence. To honor Tiffanys Bridal's 45th anniversary and to provide inspiration for present-day brides, Townsend collected dresses from the past four decades to exhibit in "Part of the Tradition: Tiffanys' Brides Through the Years." The display at the front of the store features dresses purchased at Tiffanys Bridal from the '70s, '80s, '90s, 2000s and 2010s. It also includes memorabilia from the original owners, such as newspaper clippings and photographs. "You can see the decades at Tiffanys and the changes in the dresses," Townsend says. 273-6303 or tiffanysbridal.com .
