On Monday, Aug. 27, Richmond magazine celebrated the 25th anniversary of our signature Best & Worst issue with the Best-of Bash at the renovated John Marshall. About 550 guests sampled food and drink from 25 of our Best-of winners while being entertained by the Black Girls, Big East Band, DJ Mass FX (Perry Young), Jonathan the Juggler and Richmond Comedy Coalition. A dunking booth, caricature artist, party portraits by Hayes & Fisk and appearances by Nutzy, the VCU Ram, Charlie Brown and Snoopy –– along with many prominent and familiar Richmond personalities — added to the festive atmosphere and a true celebration of the best Richmond has to offer.
All proceeds from the Best-of Bash will benefit the SPCA, SCAN, VCU's Massey Cancer Center and Podium Foundation.
