We're super bummed to see one of Richmond's core bridal shops close their doors, but there's a silver lining for brides-to-be and other women hunting for a special occasion dress: The Jingles Bridal Retirement Closing Sale is still going strong, through Saturday, March 28.
Along with all wedding gowns discounted at least 50 percent, some of the items up for grabs include:
- All "mother of the bride" dresses are $100; some are valued as high as $450.
- All "special occasion" dresses are $50. This includes Prom dresses and similar styles.
- All "bridesmaid" dresses are 50 percent off. Please note that orders for dresses are not being taken and they are off-the-rack only.
- Jewelry, accessories, and more are also marked down.
While some customers are scoring nice items at even nicer prices, Owner Ellen Clark is focusing on making sure their current clients — namely, Spring and Summer brides — aren't left hanging, such as in terms of needing alterations or other assistance.
"We wanted to do it right," Clark says in regards to the retirement process. "We're making sure all our brides are taken care of by the time we close our doors."
Jingles is located at 117 W. Broad Street (The Shoppes at Westgate) and has modified its store hours to 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. It is closed Wednesdays and Sundays.
