Bridal hair always seems so sleek, soft and romantic, so what's a curly girl to do? Best to embrace the curl instead of trying to subdue it.
Coletti Starks, owner of Coletti's Hair Salon inside Sola Salons, curled a model's wavy hair in this issue's bridal fashion spread. "Define curls with texturizing paste so it looks more polished," Starks says. "Twist the strands into a nice shape and anchor with pins."
Those of you with natural curls understand that smoothing and straightening can sometimes be a losing proposition. Your wedding day isn't the time to take that risk. Instead, try anchoring loose braided coils at your nape for a bohemian effect. For more control, try knotting the hair and pinning it in place instead. Either way, it's safe to say your hair will remain naturally beautiful throughout the wedding festivities.
