Having helmed their own army, it makes sense for KISS to team with Hiring Our Heroes and Vet Tix to offer veterans access to the band’s 32 stops on the “Freedom to Rock” tour, which lands at the Richmond Coliseum on Sept. 9. Soldiers and civilians can be tapped as a “Roadie for a Day” or offered discounted admission — and take in 40 years of rock history.
Despite the band’s mid-’90s efforts getting a bit bogged down in then-contemporary hard rock, KISS has remained an unwavering proponent of rock’s most theatrical tendencies.
For information about becoming a roadie, visit uschamberfoundation.org; for discounted tickets, see vettix.org.
8 p.m. $39.50 to $125.
