Not much is funny about cerebral palsy — except for Josh Blue. He's afflicted by the body-twisting neurological disorder, but his ability to turn his condition into fuel for humor catapulted him into the spotlight from his 2006 television debut on NBC's Last Comic Standing. Blue, who grew up in St. Paul, Minn., and lives in Denver, is performing at the Funny Bone Comedy Club in Short Pump, April 11 to 13. One of his lines: "People ask me if I get nervous coming up on stage. I say, ‘Heck no, I got this many people staring at me all day.' " He's appeared as a regular guest star on Comedy Central's Mind of Mencia. Recently, he's also moved into film, with a role in the baseball comedy 108 Stitches, set for release this spring.
