Cake Charmer Anna Ellison finds her place on Ace of Cakes
This patriotic cake, which was featured on an episode of Ace of Cakes, was designed and decorated by Ellison for a girl named Sophia. "She's the daughter of a famous psychic," Ellison explains, "and her birthday is also on the Fourth of July."
Believe it or not, this Nightmare Before Christmas-themed creation is actually a wedding cake. "For some reason we get this a lot," Ellison says.
Ellison needed the help of the entire bakery for this project, which she calls "our best cake." The life-sized version of a Ducati motorcycle lit up, had an engine that revved, and smoke came out the back.
Another complicated effort requiring the skills of the entire Charm City Cakes crew, this is a replica of St. Basil's Cathedral in Moscow.
