The Richmond mayor’s race is coming to a TV screen near you.
Three candidates – former Venture Richmond executive Jack Berry, former Secretary of the Commonwealth Levar Stoney and former West End Councilman Bruce Tyler – have purchased advertising spots. Berry and Stoney released the ads on Wednesday. Tyler posted three separate spots to his Facebook page in the last week.
All three campaigns declined comment on how much they spent. Depending on when the candidates purchased the spots, the figures could be made public on Sept. 15, when the next round of campaign finance reports are due.
