The connections between a guilt-ridden pianist with AIDS (Lazarus Syndrome, Richmond Triangle Players, Feb. 24 to March 19), the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. drafting his final speech (The Mountaintop, Cadence Theatre Co., Feb 18 to March 12) and a Jewish family’s battle over an heirloom (Bad Jews, TheatreLab, Feb. 18 to March 5) may not be obvious. On Jan. 17 at 7 p.m., a free preview will be held at Virginia Repertory Theatre, 114 W. Broad St. Post-show talkbacks are held after certain performances. theactsoffaith.org.
