Richmond Restaurant Week runs Oct. 20 - 26
Richmond Restaurant Week comes but twice a year, allowing us 14 days to sample some of the city's finest menus for a great cause. Fall's event is nearly one month away, and for just $25.14 from Oct. 20 to Oct. 26, you can taste your way through a gourmet three-course meal at some of Richmond's trendiest and most beloved dining establishments. But wait, there's more: $2.14 from every meal you buy directly benefits FeedMore, a hunger-relief organization including the Central Virginia Food Bank, Central Virginia's Meals on Wheels, and the Community Kitchen.
"It's a great way to enjoy yourself and help a great cause while you're doing it," says Christy Dalton, community events manager at FeedMore. According to Dalton, spring's Richmond Restaurant Week raised $30,569 alone, proving that philanthropy never tasted so good.
