It’s easy to forget, when drinking a cold glass of André Hueston Mack’s Mouton Noir rosé and nibbling on chef Erik Bruner-Yang’s pork buns, that Off-Broad Appétit’s real focus is on hunger — and solutions to ending it. Pasture co-owner Jason Alley brought that message home as he thanked the crowd for coming out and introduced Kathryn Erhardt, director of development for FeedMore (the organization that the event benefits). An all-star chef line-up attracted a sold-out crowd to the May 31 event, raising $4,000. Inside Pasture and outside on the patio, it was clear to see why this was the hottest ticket in town.
