Reynolds South Plant
What: A 17.5-acre industrial plant, including 506,000 square feet of building space, owned by Reynolds Packaging Group. Where: Bordered by Hull Street on the southeast and Seventh Street on the southwest. Status: Up for sale by Reynolds. No deal announced yet.
Tobacco Factory
What: Mixed-use rehab of an old Philip Morris cigarette plant to include 225 apartments plus 29,000 square feet of office space. Where: Northeast of Stockton Street and Commerce Road. Status: Completed in 2009; units leasing.
Perry Place Apartments
What: A historic rehab of the former Acme Paper & Supply Co. Includes 70 residential units. Where: Northwest of Perry Street and Commerce Road. Status: Completed in 2009; units leasing.
New Manchester Flats
What: Rehab of a former Southern Stove Works factory to include 169 residential units, including some for VCU Arts students and some for disabled residents. Where: Near the intersection of East Seventh Street and Gordon Avenue. Status: Initial phase of apartments (98 units completed); remaining number to be finished this year.
