From faux fur to denim cut-offs (yes, really), Richmonders really brought out their best looks to traipse around in the tundra this past weekend. I thought it would be fun to use our monthly “Best Dressed” post to celebrate all things #Jonasstyle with seven of RVAs most cozy chic looks.
It’s hard not to look cool in the cold with a beard like DJ Hoody’s (@hoodyrva); it’s the ultimate winter weather accessory! Of course, the faux fur trimmed hood, baseball hat and sunglasses only serves to add snug style to his outfit.

Isn’t Summer Lambert (@damselinsf) a total winter dreamboat in her blizzard best? Getting bundled up does not have to mean forgoing femininity and her green overcoat and skirt combo is proof. The swipe of red lipstick adds a touch of sweet Snow White style.

Sometimes a buffalo plaid ear-flap hat, wellingtons and over coat is all you need to stay chic in the snow. Chaz’s (@iammylife_chaz) look is simple, classic, and functional.

The perfect snow day triumvirate. Shawn (@shaawnn) had a similar idea; pairing a khaki denim jacket with a black winter coat doubles the warmth and the fashion levels.

Maybe puffer coats and ski caps aren’t your style? Take a page from Charlotte Spruill (@spruillcl) and her bestie’s book and pull out the faux fur. Their faux fur jackets are modern interpretations of a classic winter coat and their oversized shades, brimmed hats and all-black everything make for enviable snow day looks.

And yet another fashionable duo; Jake Delaney (@jdeladaps) and his buddy risked their lives to snap the perfect snow #ootd— and I love it. A thermal onesie is always a great option for staying toasty in the tundra and while Jake’s classic tank top and denim cut-off outfit may not be appropriate for the high temps, it’s definitely scoring high on style.

Allen Stanley’s (@allen_stanley) layered up look is all about tonal textures. The nubby marled cardigan over the thin neutral sweater paired with distressed denim and topped off with a plaid scarf adds tons of visual interest without adding unnecessary bulk. His Ryan Gosling good looks don’t hurt either (not sure what that has to do with the weather but it couldn’t be ignored).
