On March 27, Chester boutique The Cordial Cricket will host Mary Davenport Williams, whose customized silhouettes take just 15 minutes to create. Two years ago, Williams launched Richmond's Gibson Lane Studio, which specializes in silhouettes with personality. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., she will be taking photos and helping customers select from hundreds of paper, color and font options. Williams will then design, print and, if desired, frame the silhouette — an ideal gift for Mother's Day. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are recommended.
