Chic chandeliers and pendant lights can add flavor to any kitchen. Last week we showcased appliances that can cook up focal points, too. Another way to add uncommon flair to a kitchen is with a distinctive faucet.
Kohler’s Karbon faucet (above) is a contemporary wonder. It has sleek good looks and spectacular flexibility.
It’s designed with three movable pivot joints that allow you to position the nozzle exactly where you want it; direct it at any angle; and use it inside the sink and out.
The faucet can be used in its regular position and be extended up to 18-inches high to fill large or tall pots. It can also be angled deep down in the sink for food prep and cleanup. And when you’re not using it, it can be folded up.
Karbon gets its name from a special material: a carbon fiber that’s been engineered to make it lightweight and strong.
Easy to maneuver and to clean, this Karbon faucet is a stunner. It comes in polished chrome, vibrant stainless and bronze finishes. There’s also a stainless and black option.
All can be ordered through licensed Kohler dealers and at Ferguson where Karbon sink faucets are priced from $1,051 to $1,554, depending on finish. Wall mounted versions cost $1,347 to $1,787, and a smaller Karbon faucet designed for vessel-style bathroom sinks is also available.
