The temperatures say summer and the Spring Sale at Decorating Outlet is just as hot.
The shop, Shades of Light’s catalog outlet, is well stocked with lamps, chandeliers, shades, accent furniture, rugs and wall art. You’ll find samples, one-of-a-kinds, and newly discontinued items all further marked down for spring clearance.
I quickly fell for these glossy ceramic table lamps with their scorching lacquer looks. I love the colors — salmon, Kelly green and bright celadon (not pictured) — with their sultry, same-color shiny shades. Just one of these lamps could heat up a room.
Colorful stickers and tags indicate how much more you can take-off the original outlet prices. Look for savings up to 75 percent off. These lamps, for instance, were $285 and are now $200.
The official sale runs through Saturday, June 4, but you can continue to save on items that remain.
Decorating Outlet is at 9912 Midlothian Tpke. Store hours are Monday to Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Friday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
