Virginia Pridefest 2025
An autumn tradition in Richmond, Virginia Pridefest brings entertainment, showstopping performances, food and drinks, and nearly 200 diverse local vendors to Midtown Green on Sept. 12.
This year’s theme is “Our Pride. Our Joy. Our Resistance!” The main stage will showcase headliner and “American Idol” alum David Archuleta, Nashville-based country artist Chris Housman, and singer-songwriter Madison Rose. LGBTQ+ teens can visit the Allianz Youth Pride Pavilion, which offers family-friendly entertainment, activities and vendors.
“I think [attendees] can really feel the collective power of what being together to celebrate the LGBTQ community and the Richmond region is,” says James Millner, director of the event’s organizer, Virginia Pride.
The festival runs from noon to 8 p.m. Admission is free.
