Step right up, ladies and ge’mmen, step right up, for “Unbound5!” at Candela Books + Gallery. The lineup for this invitational and juried exhibition — an absolute cure for ocular duress relating to staring at screens of various kinds — includes 42 remarkable photographers from near and far, says director Gordon Stettinius.
Those include Gretchen LeMaistre and Kirk Crippens, who documented in large-format prints the maiming of redwoods by those seeking the valuable meat of the tree, hacking off hunks for sale. Also see works of widely shown Richmonders including Yemen native Asiya Al-Sharabi and our homegrown Southern Gothic, Susan Worsham.
